New York City hairstylist, Cassandra Normil has a passion for creating beauty through hair, using wigs, braids, and extensions as her medium.
Growing up, hair has always been a focal point in Cassandra’s life. From getting in the way at the full service salon in her aunt and uncles living room in Brooklyn to being a shampoo girl after school at a local salon in Queens, Cassandra knew early on that she was destined to be a hairstylist.
Whether it’s the chaotic scene of backstage during fashion week or squeezing in a last look on a photoshoot Cassandra brings serenity and attentiveness to the task at hand. She treats every client like a star , because “Everyone has the right to feel fabulous.”
Her experiences includes working in one of the top salons on Madison Avenue, styling hair internationally, creating editorial looks on creative photoshoots and for magazines and lifestyle work for advertising. Each experience lends itself to building Cassandra as a well-rounded hair artist.
